Josephine Chaplin, the daughter of the iconic comedian Charlie Chaplin, breathed her last at the age of 74. The actress, fondly known as Kumarthi, passed away in Paris on the 13th of this month. Born on March 28, 1949, in Santa Monica, California, Josephine was one of the eight children of Charlie Chaplin and Una O’Neill.
Being the third child of the legendary Charlie Chaplin and Una O’Neill, Josephine had a childhood surrounded by cinematic brilliance. At a young age in 1952, she had her first taste of the limelight with her father’s film “Limelight.”
In 1972, Josephine’s exceptional acting talent was recognized with an award-winning performance in the movie “A Countess from Hong Kong,” where she starred alongside other eminent actors.
