There were rumours that Kiara Advani was cast in the sequel to Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s film “Salaar.” However, it has now been confirmed that Kiara Advani was never approached for a lead role in “Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam.” The full cast and crew for the sequel have not yet been announced, but it is expected that most actors from the first instalment will return.
Meanwhile, Kiara Advani has just finished filming for her upcoming Telugu movie, “Game Changer,” which stars Ram Charan in the lead role. Directed by Shankar, this political thriller is slated for release later this year, and a recent single from the film has already been released.
“Ceasefire,” the first part of “Salaar,” was directed by Prasanth Neel of “KGF” fame and starred Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran. The epic action film tells the story of Deva and Varadha’s friendship in the dystopian state of Khansaar. In addition to the main cast, the movie featured actors like Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, John Vijay, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, and more. With its success at the box office, anticipation is high for the sequel and its narrative.
Prabhas is currently filming “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Aswin. This post-apocalyptic sci-fi movie draws inspiration from Hindu mythology, with Prabhas portraying an alter-ego of Lord Vishnu’s avatar, Kalki. The film boasts an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, and Disha Patani, among others. Additionally, Prabhas will lead in films like “The Raja Saab” and “Spirit,” both helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga.
