Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has delighted fans by sharing new stills from her upcoming film “Tejas” and announcing its official release date. The highly anticipated movie, in which Kangana portrays an Air Force pilot, is set to hit theatres on October 20. The actress took to Instagram to reveal the captivating images and express her excitement about the project.

In the stills shared by Kangana, she can be seen in the iconic uniform of an Air Force pilot, paying homage to the bravery of India’s heroic pilots. One still showcases her walking out of a Tejas, a multi-role combat aircraft, exuding an air of determination and valour. Another still captures her during an action-packed scene with a burning jeep in the background, hinting at the intense and thrilling narrative of the film. Kangana also shared a close-up of her look in uniform, complete with the garrison cap, through her Instagram Stories.

Accompanying the stills, Kangana wrote, “Honouring the bravery of our heroic Air Force Pilots! Tejas, releasing in cinemas on 20th October. @sarveshmewara @varun.mitra @anshul14chauhan @ronnie.screwvala @rsvpmovies.” The actress’s post generated an enthusiastic response from her fans, who expressed their admiration for her powerful on-screen presence. Fans praised her look in uniform, with comments such as “Banno tera swagger, laggy sexy” and “That’s woman power,” along with referring to her as “Bollywood ki Jhansi ki Rani.”

“Tejas” has been a highly anticipated project since its announcement in 2020, and its release was delayed due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film holds special significance for Kangana as she had always aspired to play the role of a soldier and has expressed her deep respect for the armed forces. The actress had previously stated, “Being in uniform will be one of the biggest highlights of my life.”

Producer Ronnie Screwvala, in an interview with Mumbai Mirror, highlighted that “Tejas” is not a sequel to the successful film “Uri: The Surgical Strike,” but shares a similar scale and theme. “Tejas” promises to deliver an intense and patriotic storyline that showcases the valour and dedication of the Indian Air Force.

Interestingly, Kangana Ranaut’s “Tejas” is not the only aerial action entertainer in the works in Bollywood. Superstars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone are also collaborating on a film titled “Fighter,” directed by Siddharth Anand, which is scheduled for release in January next year.

As the release date for “Tejas” draws near, fans of Kangana Ranaut eagerly await the opportunity to witness her extraordinary portrayal of an Air Force pilot on the silver screen. With its high-octane action sequences and patriotic narrative, the film is poised to captivate audiences and reaffirm Kangana’s prowess as one of Bollywood’s most versatile and talented actors.

Stay tuned for further updates and behind-the-scenes glimpses as the countdown to the release of “Tejas” intensifies, and the excitement surrounding this promising air force film continues to soar.
