Kalki 2898 AD: Amitabh Bachchan’s Character as Ashwatthama Revealed in New Teaser

In the highly anticipated film Kalki 2898 AD, Amitabh Bachchan’s character has finally been unveiled. Portraying the immortal Ashwatthama, Bachchan’s role in the magnum opus was announced by the makers through a new teaser promo. Covered in yellow attire, Bachchan is depicted praying before a Shiva linga in a cave setting. Responding to a child’s inquiry, he reveals, “Since ancient times, I have awaited the arrival of the Avatar. I am Guru Drona’s son. Ashwatthama.”

Bachchan shared his thoughts on the experience of working on the film via his X account, expressing his admiration for the innovative concept and modern technology involved. Kalki 2898 AD, a sci-fi spectacle starring Prabhas, Deepika, Amitabh, and Kamal, recently unveiled a new poster on Maha Shivaratri, disclosing Prabhas’s character name as Bhairava. The film is scheduled for release on May 9.
