Jr NTR, following his impactful role in SS Rajamouli’s “RRR,” is all set to enthral audiences with his forthcoming film, “Devara,” directed by Koratala Siva, marking their reunion after the successful collaboration on “Janatha Garage” in 2016.
Speculations are rife about a potential release of the first sneak peek for “Devara” on January 8th next year. Although unconfirmed, this news has triggered excitement and high expectations among fans. The highly anticipated film is purportedly scheduled for a worldwide release on April 5th, 2024.
Earlier plans to unveil the teaser of “Devara” alongside films like “Salaar” and “Dunki” were rumoured but allegedly put on hold due to pending VFX works.
“Devara” is envisaged as a two-part cinematic venture, featuring Jr NTR in a character situated in the coastal regions of India. Produced by Yuvasudha Arts in conjunction with NTR Arts, Koratala Siva helms the directorial responsibilities, while the soundtrack will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
The film boasts an ensemble cast including Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, marking Janhvi’s debut in Telugu cinema. Emphasizing extensive use of VFX, the movie is anticipated to carry grand cinematic visuals. The supporting cast comprises acclaimed actors such as Ramya Krishnan, Prakash Raj, Shine Tom Chacko, Srikanth, and Murali Sharma, essaying pivotal roles.
Jr NTR’s previous appearance in the blockbuster “RRR” showcased his portrayal of Komaram Bheem, a pivotal character in the pre-Independence era, highlighting the theme of friendship and resistance against British rule.
Post “Devara,” the versatile actor is set to collaborate with “Salaar” director Prashanth Neel for a film tentatively titled “NTR 31.” Additionally, plans for the second part of “Devara” are underway. Excitingly, Jr NTR is slated to take on the role of the main antagonist in “War 2” alongside Hrithik Roshan, directed by Ayan Mukherji.
