Koratala Siva’s pan-India release “Devara Part 1” debuted on Friday with much anticipation. Starring Telugu superstar Jr NTR in a solo lead role, the film witnessed remarkable advance bookings both in India and abroad. Trade analysts predict the movie will easily surpass ₹100 crores on its opening day, potentially outshining many of India’s recent blockbuster hits.
Devara: Part 1 Box Office Prediction:
“Devara Part 1” has achieved an outstanding ₹75 crore in advance booking sales worldwide, marking one of the highest figures for any Indian film to date. This has positioned the film for a potentially record-breaking opening day. Initial projections indicate that domestically, the film could gross between ₹85-95 crore, with a significant ₹70 crore expected from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh alone. Internationally, “Devara Part 1” is forecasted to generate over $5 million (₹40-45 crore). Conservative estimates suggest the film could garner ₹125 crore globally on its opening day, while more optimistic projections indicate it could reach ₹140 crore.
Devara’s Opening Day Box Office Performance:
If “Devara” manages to achieve a ₹140 crore opening day collection, it would secure the seventh spot in the ranking of highest opening day earnings by Indian films, trailing only behind RRR, Baahubali 2, Kalki 2898 AD, Salaar, KGF Chapter 2, and Leo. Notably, this figure surpasses the highest opening day collections of major Bollywood films such as Jawan (₹129 crore), Animal (₹116 crore), and Pathaan (₹105 crore). Regardless of the final tally, “Devara” is poised to join the elite league as the 14th Indian film to cross the ₹100 crore mark on its opening day.
