Jeet Adani, aged twenty-seven, joined the Adani Group in 2019 and currently serves as Director of Adani Airport Holdings, overseeing India’s largest airport infrastructure company with management and development responsibility for eight airports. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Jeet also manages the Adani Group’s defence, petrochemicals, and copper businesses, while leading the Group’s digital transformation efforts.
Passionate about advocating for persons with disabilities, Jeet recently made waves on Shark Tank India by proposing an episode dedicated to entrepreneurs with disabilities and those supporting the community. His idea garnered support from People Group and Shaadi.com founder Anupam Mittal, leading to the announcement of a “Divyang Special” episode. During the show, Jeet Adani highlighted that the Adani Group has committed to ensuring that five percent of its workforce comprises persons with disabilities.
Reflecting on the inspiration behind his advocacy, Jeet Adani recalled a visit to Mitti Cafe, a chain employing individuals with disabilities, particularly from disadvantaged backgrounds, including an outlet at Mumbai International Airport. “Witnessing the resilience, warmth, and dedication of their staff members despite their challenges deeply touched me,” Jeet Adani shared.
The young business leader draws inspiration from his mother, Priti Adani, whose vision transformed the Adani Foundation from a modest rural project in Gujarat’s Mundra into a powerful catalyst for change.
