Janhvi Kapoor, the budding Bollywood talent, revealed an enlightening chapter of her career during a candid appearance on Karan Johar’s “Koffee with Karan.” The discussion revolved around her experience working on the much-awaited film, “Devara,” directed by Koratala Siva, alongside a stellar ensemble cast featuring the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Shine Tom Chacko, Prakash Raj, Narain, and more.
The young actress expressed a profound shift in her perspective, sharing that her journey until now felt like preparatory workshops compared to her time on the set of “Devara.” She articulated, “It felt like everything I have done up until now has been like workshops, or like getting ready, or getting to know myself.”
Kapoor highlighted the impact of her involvement in the film, emphasizing how it helped her grasp her identity and purpose within the industry. “So I feel like when I came onto this set, I felt like ‘Okay, this is who I am’. And this is who I am,” she stated, indicating a newfound clarity and confidence in her craft.
Her sentiments extended to acknowledging the formative years of her career, admitting to feeling somewhat adrift but passionately devoted to her work. However, her involvement in “Devara” marked a significant turning point, igniting a sense of fulfilment and alignment with her artistic calling.
