The glitzy world of entertainment often comes with jaw-dropping figures, and the recently released hit film “Jailer” is no exception. Tamannaah Bhatia, the talented actress known for her dynamic dance moves, reportedly commanded a substantial fee of Rs 3 crore for her role in the movie, adding another feather to her already illustrious cap.

Tamannaah’s dance number “Kaavaalaa” had already garnered immense popularity even before the film’s release, and her contribution to “Jailer” undoubtedly played a significant role in its success. The actress, who is also set to star in Chiranjeevi’s film “Bholaa Shankar,” openly admired two iconic actors – Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi. She commended their humility, diligence, and unwavering commitment to their craft, stating, “As a young actor, I’ve imbibed this quality from them, and I aspire to maintain it throughout my career and life.”

In the ensemble cast, notables such as Jackie Shroff and Shiva Rajkumar also secured impressive remunerations, each earning approximately Rs 4 crore for their roles. Yogi Babu and Ramya Krishnan, who portrayed significant characters in the movie, earned around Rs 1 crore and Rs 80 lakhs respectively, reinforcing their pivotal roles in the industry.

With “Jailer,” Rajinikanth once again solidifies his undeniable status as one of the nation’s foremost superstars. The film, steeped in anticipation even before its release, opened to an astonishing collection of Rs 52 crore gross on its inaugural day in India. Pushing the boundaries further, the movie went on to break numerous box office records, including clinching the title of the Biggest Opening in Tamil Nadu for 2023 and achieving the Highest Opening Day India Gross in 2023 within the Tamil film industry.

According to the distinguished industry tracker Sacnilk, “Jailer” continued its triumphant march, amassing an impressive Rs 27 crore in India on Friday, August 11, thus culminating in a total collection of Rs 75 crore.
