Renowned Malayalam actor Vinayakan found himself embroiled in controversy as news emerged of his arrest for disorderly conduct at a police station in Kochi, Kerala. The actor, known for his exceptional performances in the South Indian film industry, was reportedly involved in a ruckus at the Ernakulam Town North police station on Tuesday evening, following an earlier dispute at his residence.

According to reports, Vinayakan’s neighbours had complained to him, citing prolonged disturbances arising from frequent altercations with his spouse. Subsequently, the authorities summoned him to the police station, where the situation escalated, leading to the actor’s arrest. Sources revealed that Vinayakan not only disrupted the station’s operations but also allegedly verbally abused the officers while in an inebriated state.

The Kerala Circle Inspector of Police, Prathapachandran, confirmed that Vinayakan was released on bail after being charged with assaulting a police officer and obstructing the functioning of the station. Additionally, it was reported that the actor had initially called the police to mediate a family dispute at his residence.

Despite the recent controversy, Vinayakan’s recent work in the entertainment industry has been well-received. His notable portrayal of Varman, the lead antagonist in the movie Jailer, garnered praise from both critics and audiences alike. Notably, the talented actor is also set to appear in the much-anticipated spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram, alongside Chiyaan Vikram, under the direction of acclaimed filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon.

As the situation unfolds, fans and the film community eagerly await further developments in this unexpected turn of events involving one of Malayalam cinema’s revered talents.
