Dulquer Salmaan’s “King of Kotha” Teaser to be Released by Mahesh Babu, Rakshit Shetty, and Silambarasan TR

Fans of Dulquer Salmaan are eagerly awaiting updates on his upcoming projects after the success of “Chup” and “Sita Ramam.” Excitement is building as the teaser for his next film, “King of Kotha,” is set to release on June 28. The makers had previously shared the motion poster and unveiled the teaser release date. Now, it has been announced that the teaser will be released by Mahesh Babu, Rakshit Shetty, and Silambarasan TR.

Mahesh Babu will unveil the Telugu version of the teaser on Wednesday at 6 pm. Zee Studios South shared the news on Twitter, stating, “Namma satham indha week extra’va irukkum. Because KOK’s Tamil Teaser will be released by our Atman Silambarasan TR.”

Rakshit Shetty, on the other hand, will be launching the Kannada version of the teaser.

“King of Kotha” marks the directorial debut of Abhilash Joshiy, son of veteran filmmaker Joshiy. The screenplay has been penned by Abhilash N Chandran, known for his work in “Porinju Mariam Jose.” The film is a gangster drama that spans different timelines.

In addition to Dulquer Salmaan, the film boasts a stellar cast including Aishwarya Lekshmi, Shabeer Kallarakkal, Chemban Vinod Jose, Nyla Usha, Shanthi Krishna, Prasanna, Gokul Suresh, Sudhi Koppa, and Anikha Surendran in prominent roles. Ritika Singh will also make a special appearance in a dance number. The music for the film is composed by Shaan Rahman and Jakes Bejoy.

Dulquer Salmaan had earlier shared a motion poster on Instagram, introducing the “people of Kotha.” The key characters were presented in an intriguing sketch format. Dulquer’s portrayal of the King exuded intensity, leaving the audience excited for more.

In the caption of the video, Dulquer Salmaan revealed that the teaser of the film would be released on June 28. “Introducing the People of Kotha! Brace yourself for a first glimpse Teaser into the realm of King of Kotha releasing on June 28 at 6 pm,” he wrote.

“King of Kotha” is jointly produced by Wayfarer Films and Zee Studios. The team aims for an Onam release in August, and the pan-India film will be released in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
