Director Shankar Wraps Up Climax of Ram Charan’s Game Changer, Begins Shoot for Kamal Haasan’s Indian 2

Director Shankar, known for his grandiose and impactful films, is currently working on two highly anticipated projects, Ram Charan‘s “Game Changer” and Kamal Haasan‘s “Indian 2.” The director recently took to Twitter to share an exciting update about the shoots of both films. He announced the completion of the most important and electrifying climax of “Game Changer” with Ram Charan and revealed that he is now gearing up to commence shooting the silver bullet sequences of “Indian 2” with Kamal Haasan.

Taking to Twitter on May 9, director Shankar posted a photo of himself and shared an update on both films. The release dates for both projects have not been announced yet, but it is expected that they will hit the cinema halls by the end of 2023 or early 2024, generating much anticipation among fans.

The shoot schedules for “Game Changer” and “Indian 2” have been progressing at a steady pace. Shankar began shooting for the climax of “Game Changer” on April 18, right after completing the South Africa schedule of “Indian 2.” The team filmed major intense action sequences in the African country, adding to the excitement surrounding the film.

As for “Game Changer,” the shoot is reportedly progressing rapidly. However, Ram Charan is expected to take a break from work soon as he prepares to welcome his newborn. He aims to wrap up significant portions of the film beforehand, allowing him to fully enjoy fatherhood during the forthcoming period.

“Indian 2” is a sequel to the 1996 film of the same name. Kamal Haasan reprises his iconic role as Senapathy, an ex-freedom fighter turned vigilante fighting against corruption. The film also features Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Bobby Simha, Siddharth, and others in key roles. Produced by Udayanidhi Stalin of Red Giant Movies in association with Lyca Productions, “Indian 2” has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander.

On the other hand, “Game Changer” is an action drama set against the backdrop of contemporary politics. Kiara Advani plays the female lead in the film, which features a gripping story by director Karthik Subbaraju and music composed by S Thaman.

With director Shankar juggling two exciting projects simultaneously, fans are eagerly awaiting the release of both “Game Changer” and “Indian 2.” The promise of intense action sequences, compelling narratives, and stellar performances from renowned actors has heightened the anticipation, making these films highly anticipated ventures in the world of cinema.
