Dhruva Natchathiram: Gautham Menon’s Spy-Thriller Finally Set to Hit Silver Screens after a Decade

After a long wait of a decade, Dhruva Natchathiram is finally making its way to the silver screens. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon and featuring the versatile Chiyaan Vikram in the lead, the much-anticipated Tamil spy-thriller is generating excitement among fans and cinephiles alike.

On Wednesday, the film’s team unveiled the second single, “His Name Is John,” which has already become a massive hit, crossing 2 million views within 24 hours. The song, a perfect blend of rap and Tamil folk music with modern beats is composed by the renowned Harris Jayaraj and written and voiced by rapper Paal Dabba. Even though the majority of the song is in Tamil, the rap verses are in English, adding a unique touch to the track.

The wait for Dhruva Natchathiram has been a roller-coaster ride for the audience. Initially announced in 2013 with Suriya in the lead, the film was later shelved and revived in 2016, with Vikram replacing Suriya. Teasers and the first single had already impressed both the audience and critics, but financial issues caused delays of nearly seven years.
