Proving that his admiration for Rajinikanth remains unwavering, Dhanush, the versatile actor of South Indian cinema, showcased his ardent fandom by attending the first-day first show of “Jailer” at Chennai’s esteemed Rohini Silver Screens theatre. The event, which unfolded with enthusiasm, saw Dhanush racing up the stairs to catch the eagerly awaited screening, with his vigilant bodyguards in tow.

Dhanush, known for his remarkable on-screen performances, attempted to blend into the crowd for the screening. He donned a beige shirt coupled with black pants and concealed his identity under a cap. The theatre shared an image of Dhanush on their official Twitter handle, captioning it, “The Ardent #Thalaivar Fan Mr. D at #FansFortRohini to celebrate #Jailer with fans.”

Earlier this week, Dhanush extended a massive shoutout to “Jailer” on his Twitter account. Although infrequent on the platform, the actor posted, “It’s JAILER week 😁😁😁.”

Throughout the years, Dhanush has maintained a tradition of attending at least one show on the release day of Rajinikanth’s films. In 2019, he even accompanied Rajinikanth’s family to watch “Petta” at 4 am.

Dhanush, who tied the knot with Aishwaryaa Rajinikanth, the eldest daughter of the South Indian superstar, in 2004, has two sons, Yatra Raja and Linga Raja. However, their separation announcement in January 2022 caught fans off guard. Currently, they are engaged in co-parenting their children.

On the professional front, Dhanush’s career is teeming with projects. He is set to appear in “Captain Miller” and has unveiled plans for “Tere Ishk Mein” with Aanand L Rai. Additionally, he embarked on the journey of his second directorial venture, temporarily referred to as “D50,” earlier this year. The poster release of the film created quite a buzz a few weeks ago, hinting at Dhanush’s multifaceted creative endeavours.
