In a recent development, GV Prakash, the music director for the highly anticipated film “Captain Miller” starring Dhanush, shared an exciting update on social media. He posted a selfie featuring himself, Dhanush, and the film’s director, Arun Matheswaran, apparently taken in a recording studio. Accompanying the photo was a snippet of what seemed to be the lyrics of an upcoming song for the movie, revealing that Dhanush has lent his vocals to the track.
“Captain Miller,” slated for a Pongal/Sankranti 2024 release, boasts an ensemble cast including Shiva Rajkumar, Priyanka Mohan, Nassar, Sundeep Kishan, Vinoth Kishan, and more. Dhanush portrays the titular character, referred to as Eesa or Analeesan, purportedly the leader of a rebel group. Despite speculations linking the character to the real-life LTTE rebel, the director clarified that the film is an original creation and not based on any existing source. Interestingly, the film is planned for release in three parts.
Produced by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under Sathya Jyothi Films, “Captain Miller” has Siddharth Nuni behind the camera and Nagooran Ramachandran handling editing duties.
