Dhanush and Sekhar Kammula team up for the first time

Kollywood star Dhanush is all set for his 51st movie which has been announced officially on the occasion of the birth anniversary of producer Shri Narayan Das K Narang. Dhanush will be joining hands with filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. While the film is yet to be titled, it is currently being referred to as D51.

D51 is expected to be mounted on a grand scale in multiple languages with the blessings of Narayan Das K Narang and will be produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao under their production house Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP (A Unit Of Asian Group), in association with Amigos Creations Pvt Ltd. Sonali Narang will be presenting the movie.

Talking about revealing further details on it, a source close to the film said, “Sekhar Kammula (has) prepared a perfect story which will feature Dhanush in a never-before-seen avatar. The makers are also in talks with some very big names to be a part of this project. The details of other cast and technical crew will be announced soon.”

Dhanush, who was last seen in the bilingual Sir, is currently gearing up for Captain Miller which is expected to be a period action drama. Besides that, he also has D50, which is yet to be titled, in the pipeline.
