“Devara” Shoots High-Octane Action Scenes with Janhvi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan

Telugu film “Devara,” helmed by the renowned director Koratala Siva and featuring the charismatic Jr NTR in the lead role, has been generating immense excitement ever since its announcement. As Jr NTR’s 30th project, the movie has already set the bar high with its massive budget, reportedly amounting to a staggering Rs 300 crore. Adding to the anticipation, Bollywood sensation Janhvi Kapoor is all set to make her debut in the South film industry with this high-octane action drama.

“Devara” is touted to be a thrilling combination of action-packed sequences and emotional elements, keeping the audience on the edge of their seats. Recently, the film’s team completed shooting the adrenaline-pumping action scenes, which are expected to be a visual spectacle.

The action sequences were filmed with Jr NTR alongside skilled fighters and the esteemed Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan at the prestigious RFC (Ramoji Film City) and Taher studio in Shamshabad. To capture the essence of these intense scenes, a grand ship was meticulously crafted against a massive blue screen at the Hyderabad studio.

Director Koratala Siva and Jr NTR decided to prioritize shooting the action sequences to ensure the film’s grandeur and intensity are portrayed seamlessly. The team has been paying meticulous attention to the visual effects and production design quality, aiming to deliver a high-quality cinematic experience to the audience.

Produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni under his banner Yuva Sudha Arts and Kosaraju Hari in association with Kalyan Ram’s NTR Arts, “Devara” is undeniably one of the most anticipated movies of 2024. The movie’s captivating storyline demanded certain scenes to be shot in low light, which led to the creation of an elaborate set at the Hyderabad studio. Jr NTR dedicated two weeks to shooting the action-packed sequences under such conditions.

Fans across India are eagerly awaiting the release of “Devara,” especially after witnessing Jr NTR’s blockbuster “RRR.” With the combination of talented actors like Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, along with the visionary director Koratala Siva, expectations are sky-high for this magnum opus.
