The release of the highly anticipated film Adipurush, starring Prabhas, has been accompanied by a series of controversies that have kept the movie in the spotlight. Since hitting the theatres on June 16, the film has generated immense buzz, and viral videos from screenings have been circulating online.

One of the viral videos captured the moment when Prabhas’ fans attacked someone outside a theatre for expressing a negative review of the movie. Another video surfaced later in the day, showing fans manhandling an individual who had occupied the seat designated for Lord Hanuman. It had been previously reported that many theatres had reserved one seat as a dedication to Lord Hanuman, and this gesture had drawn considerable interest.

In the video, shared by a fellow movie-goer, a person can be seen being forced to vacate the seat reserved for Lord Hanuman, attracting the attention of other theatre attendees.

Adipurush has been plagued by controversies in the lead-up to its release, creating a heightened sense of anticipation among fans. Now that the film is finally out, viewers are ecstatic to see their favourite actor, Prabhas, on-screen portraying the role of Lord Ram.

The Seat Dedication Controversy:

Director Om Raut made the announcement that one seat in all theatres worldwide would be reserved for Lord Hanuman. This declaration was officially made during the final trailer launch of the movie in Tirupati. The news quickly gained momentum and became a trending topic across social media platforms. Photos of theatre owners decorating these designated seats also went viral in the days leading up to the film’s release. Adipurush, which hit theatres on June 16, is expected to perform strongly at the box office over the weekend due to robust advance bookings. However, its long-term fate is yet to be determined.
