Complaint Filed Against Taapsee Pannu for Allegedly Hurting Religious Sentiments and Spreading Obscenity
Eklavya Singh Gaur, the convener of Hind Rakshak Sangathan and son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur, filed the complaint against the actress. In his complaint, Gaur claimed that Pannu had uploaded a video on her Instagram account on March 14, 2023.

On Monday, the police confirmed that a complaint had been filed against Taapsee Pannu by the Hind Rakshak Sangathan of the city for allegedly hurting religious sentiments and spreading obscenity. Eklavya Singh Gaur, the convener of Hind Rakshak Sangathan and son of BJP MLA Malini Gaur, filed the complaint against the actress. In his complaint, Gaur claimed that Pannu had uploaded a video on her Instagram account on March 14, 2023.
According to Gaur, the video shows Pannu wearing a revealing dress and a necklace depicting Goddess Lakshmi during a fashion show. “We received a complaint from Eklavya Gaur against actor Taapsee Pannu for hurting religious sentiments and the image of ‘Sanatan Dharma’ by wearing a locket with ‘Goddess Laxmi’ along with a revealing dress during a ramp walk at Lakme Fashion Week held on March 12 in Mumbai,” said the SHO of Chhatri Pura PS.
