Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Respond to Konda Surekha’s Remarks: Reacting strongly to Telangana Minister Konda Surekha’s recent statements about their divorce, actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu expressed their displeasure over the minister’s claim linking BRS leader KT Rama Rao to their separation.

Naga Chaitanya Responds to Konda Surekha’s Comment:

On Wednesday, Naga Chaitanya took to social media to address the recent controversy surrounding his divorce. In a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter), he expressed deep regret over the painful decision to part ways with his former spouse. He clarified that the divorce was a mutual and thoughtful choice, driven by their differing life aspirations, and aimed at moving forward with maturity and dignity.

Chaitanya vehemently dismissed rumors surrounding their separation as baseless and absurd. He emphasized his respect for his ex-spouse and family, noting his silence on the matter was to avoid unnecessary public attention.

Regarding Telangana Minister Konda Surekha’s recent remarks linking their divorce to political figures, Chaitanya condemned the claims as false, ludicrous, and unacceptable. He stressed the importance of supporting and respecting women, criticizing the exploitation of celebrities’ personal lives for media sensationalism.

“This claim by Minister Konda Surekha garu is not only false but also disgraceful,” Chaitanya asserted, urging for restraint and dignity in discussing personal matters.

Samantha Responds to Konda Surekha’s Comment:

Samantha Ruth Prabhu also took to her Instagram stories to reflect on recent events, shedding light on the challenges women face in the entertainment industry. She emphasized the resilience required for women to navigate an industry where they are often marginalized.

“To be a woman in this industry, to work hard, to survive in a glamorous world where women are frequently objectified, to experience love and heartbreak, and still stand strong—it demands immense courage and strength,” Samantha remarked.

Directly addressing Minister Konda Surekha, Samantha expressed her disappointment and urged for respect. “I am proud of the person I have become through this journey please do not diminish its significance. Your words hold weight as a minister, and I urge you to exercise responsibility and respect individuals’ privacy,” she stated firmly.

Samantha clarified that her divorce from Naga Chaitanya was a mutual and respectful decision, free from any political agenda. “Please refrain from dragging my name into political debates. I have always maintained a non-political stance and intend to continue doing so,” she concluded.

Following the controversy, Konda Surekha issues an apology to Samantha Ruth Prabhu:

In light of the backlash, Minister Konda Surekha has issued an apology, recognizing the controversy her remarks generated. This response came after a legal notice from KTR, which demanded she retract her statement or face possible legal consequences.

Chaitanya and Samantha, who revealed their separation two years ago, have both moved forward in their lives. Chaitanya is now engaged to actress Sobhita Dhulipala.
