The much-awaited action-packed film, “Captain Miller,” featuring Dhanush in the lead role, is slated to captivate audiences on January 12th, 2024. Directed by the talented Arun Matheswaran, the movie is set against the backdrop of British India and is poised to be the second instalment in a potential trilogy.
In a recent interview with Vikatan, the director unveiled plans for both a prequel and a sequel to “Captain Miller.” However, Arun emphasized that the fate of these future projects hinges on the success of the current release. Notably, the film’s production schedule spanned 120 days, with a whopping 75 days dedicated solely to action sequences.
The action choreographer, Dilip Subbarayan, orchestrated a colossal scene involving a staggering 1000 individuals, promising a monumental highlight within the film. Adding to the allure, Siddhartha Nuni, the Director of Photography, opted for an ingenious approach, employing only 5% artificial lighting while relying predominantly on natural lighting to capture the movie’s essence.
