Blast Near Temple in Telangana Leaves Priest Severely Injured; Investigation Underway

A sudden explosion near the Sri Sri Yade Mata Mandir in Lakshmiguda, Rangareddy district, Telangana, sent shockwaves through the local community. The blast took place around 10:30 AM on Monday, causing widespread panic among residents.

The explosion took place while the temple priest, Sugunaram, was clearing garbage near the temple premises. He sustained severe injuries in the blast and was quickly transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Initial reports indicate that his condition remains critical.

Following the explosion, the police quickly arrived at the scene, secured the area, and initiated an investigation. Assistant Commissioner of Police Srinivas confirmed that a case had been filed and that the Clues Team was collecting evidence to ascertain the cause of the blast.

“The investigation is ongoing, and we are exploring all possible leads. More information will be provided as soon as we have further clarity,” ACP Srinivas stated. While the cause of the explosion is still unclear, authorities have increased security in the area.
