Nandamuri Balakrishna, a renowned Tollywood actor and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate, is vying for Andhra Pradesh’s Hindupur Assembly constituency. In a recent disclosure, his family’s assets were revealed to be a staggering Rs 483 crore, a figure that underscores his significant financial influence.
What’s intriguing is that Balakrishna’s wife, Vasundhara, a homemaker, holds more movable assets than he does. The affidavit submitted during the nomination filing reveals that Balakrishna’s movable assets are valued at over Rs 81.63 crore, while his wife’s total stands at a substantial Rs 140.38 crore, including investments in bonds, debentures, and shares.
Balakrishna’s Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) also has movable assets exceeding Rs 2.41 crore, while his son, Mokshagnya Taraka Rama Teja, has movable assets worth Rs 58.63 crore.
In terms of immovable assets, Balakrishna’s current market value is Rs 103.35 crore, while his wife’s immovable assets are valued at Rs 38.90 crore. Meanwhile, the HUF’s movable assets are valued at Rs 46.52 crore, and Mokshagnya Taraka Rama Teja’s assets amount to Rs 11.11 crore.
