Ayalaan 2 Confirmed: Sivakarthikeyan’s Sci-Fi Sensation Returns with VFX Powerhouse PhantomFX

Following the triumphant success of “Ayalaan,” the sci-fi extravaganza starring Sivakarthikeyan, fans are in for a treat with the official confirmation of the sequel, “Ayalaan 2.” The film, known for its impressive VFX and CGI work, has garnered widespread acclaim, prompting producers KJR Studios to announce a sequel.

One of the key aspects that contributed to the success of the original film was its groundbreaking visual effects. To elevate the quality even further, KJR Studios has once again joined forces with PhantomFX, a leading VFX company. The collaboration aims to set new standards in Indian cinema, promising audiences an extraordinary visual spectacle.

A substantial budget of 50 crores has been earmarked exclusively for the VFX works of “Ayalaan 2.” Both parties have acknowledged the possibility of increased costs but have assured that the film’s quality will not be compromised.

In an official statement released by PhantomFX, it was stated, “An agreement was officially signed on 18th January 2022, to pave the way for a cinematic masterpiece that promises to set new standards in Indian cinema.” The statement emphasized the anticipation for the sequel, assuring audiences of an extraordinary visual experience.

“As the production gears up for Ayalaan 2, audiences can anticipate the extraordinary visual spectacle that blends the creative brilliance of Sivakarthikeyan and the directorial finesse of R. Ravikumar, and the groundbreaking VFX and CGI from PhantomFX,” the statement further added.

The original “Ayalaan” featured a stellar cast, including Sivakarthikeyan, Rakul Preet Singh, Yogi Babu, Karunakaran, and others. Siddharth provided the voice for the alien character in the film, adding a unique dimension to the narrative. Despite facing various challenges, including budget constraints and production difficulties, the hard work of the entire team paid off, leading to critical acclaim and now a confirmed sequel.

PhantomFX, known for its work on multiple large-scale projects, including Hollywood productions like “Joker” and “The Flash,” has been a significant player in enhancing the visual appeal of films.
