As the excitement surrounding Atlee‘s much-awaited film “Jawan” continues to build up, the filmmakers have now unveiled an intense poster featuring Vijay Sethupathi. The captivating image showcases a close-up of an enigmatic eye, leaving fans speculating about the character and raising anticipation levels even higher. The poster, shared on Red Chillies Entertainment’s Twitter handle, hints at a formidable role played by Vijay Sethupathi in the film.

Since the release of “Jawan” prevue earlier this month, fans have been treated to intriguing posters, including one of a bald Shah Rukh Khan and a fierce Nayanthara, piquing curiosity about the storyline and the characters.

While details about Vijay Sethupathi’s role remain under wraps, it is rumoured that the versatile actor will be portraying a villainous character, adding an extra layer of excitement to the already star-studded project.

Speaking about bagging the role, Vijay Sethupathi revealed, “I met SRK again at Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan’s wedding, and I told him, ‘I want to be a bad guy for you, sir.’ He said, ‘We were hoping to cast you.’ From that conversation, we met, and “Jawan” happened.”

The film’s prevue hinted at an intriguing plot, with Shah Rukh Khan’s character being born in jail and growing up to be an officer, fighting goons and seeking justice. However, a twist arrives when an older Shah Rukh takes on a double role, setting up a team of women and taking a metro train hostage, leaving fans intrigued about the storyline’s twists and turns.

Directed by Atlee, “Jawan” features an ensemble cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and now the formidable Vijay Sethupathi. With such powerhouse talent on board, the film is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated releases in Indian cinema.

As fans eagerly await more glimpses into the world of “Jawan,” the film is scheduled for release on September 7, promising a thrilling cinematic experience that is sure to leave an indelible mark on the audience.
