Pinkvilla conducted a poll to determine the Best Music Album of 2023, nominating six talented music directors whose compositions stood out in enhancing the films’ overall impact.
Nominees included Anirudh Ravichander for “Leo” and “Jailer,” Hesham Abdul Wahab for “Kushi” and “Hi Nanna,” Santhosh Narayanan for “Jigarthanda Double X,” and Charan Raj for “Sapta Saagaradaache Ello.”
Anirudh Ravichander’s compositions for Lokesh Kanagaraj’s “Leo” triumphed as the Best Music Album of 2023 following an intense voting process. His diverse tracks, from party anthems like “Naa Ready” to soulful melodies like “Anbenum” and hype tracks like “Badass,” resonated with fans.
Anirudh’s remarkable year extended beyond “Leo,” with his involvement in other hit films like “Jawan” starring Shah Rukh Khan and “Jailer” with Rajinikanth and Ramya Krishnan. His background scores for “Leo” were equally praised, contributing to the album’s success.
Anirudh’s bustling schedule extends into 2024, with approximately 8 films lined up as a music composer, including projects like “Indian 2,” “Devara Part 1” featuring Jr. NTR, “VidaaMuyarchi” with Ajith Kumar, and more.
