“Animal,” the crime thriller that stormed into theatres in December 2023, is all set to make a grand entrance onto the digital stage. With an ensemble cast featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri, the movie has already established itself as a colossal success at the box office, earning praise for its gripping narrative and stellar performances.
Nearly two months after its theatrical debut, “Animal” is ready to captivate audiences once again, this time on the popular streaming platform, Netflix. The OTT premiere is scheduled for January 26, 2024, promising an action-packed treat for viewers during the long Republic Day weekend.
The film, available in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada, is gearing up to reach a broader audience through its digital release. Ranbir Kapoor takes on the role of Ranvijay Singh, a character marked by violence and bloodshed. The narrative revolves around Ranvijay’s obsessive love for his father, Balbir Singh, played by Anil Kapoor, who has long neglected him since childhood.
Bobby Deol delivers a compelling performance as the antagonist, bringing depth to his portrayal of a mute villain. Rashmika Mandanna portrays Geetanjali, Ranbir’s wife caught in the toxic web of the father-son relationship, while Triptii Dimri plays the mysterious character Zoya.
