Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas Playfully Race to Aid Pregnant Deepika Padukone at Kalki 2898 AD Pre-Release Event

Mumbai, Wednesday evening saw a delightful moment as stars gathered for the pre-release event of Nag Ashwin’s much-anticipated film, Kalki 2898 AD. The event was graced by lead actors Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, turning into a lighthearted affair as the actors showcased their camaraderie on stage.

As Deepika Padukone prepared to join her co-stars on stage, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati were quick to offer their assistance due to her pregnancy. However, the iconic Amitabh Bachchan humorously intervened, playfully delaying their efforts to assist Deepika, drawing laughter from the fans and media present at the event.

While maintaining her trademark wit, Deepika quipped about her pregnancy, jokingly attributing her appearance to Prabhas’s generous feeding during the film’s shoot. She shared, “I’m actually like this because of all the food Prabhas fed me. It got to the point where it was a full catering service, not just food from home. He feeds from the heart.”

Reflecting on her character Sumati in the film, Deepika joked, “The movie went on for three years, I was like, why not 9 months more.”

Earlier, she had teased her fans with a stunning black dress on social media, captioning it, “Okay enough… Now I’m hungry!”

Kalki 2898 AD portrays a dystopian future where survival is challenging in Kashi’s Complex. Prabhas stars as Bhairava, a relentless bounty hunter, while Amitabh Bachchan embodies Aswatthama. Kamal Haasan portrays Supreme Leader Yaskin. The film is slated for release on June 27th.
