Akkineni Nagarjuna Applauds Son Naga Chaitanya’s Spellbinding Act in ‘Dhootha’ Web Series

Akkineni Nagarjuna, the esteemed veteran of Telugu cinema, recently took to his official social media handle to express his pride and admiration for son Naga Chaitanya‘s riveting performance in the latest neo-noir supernatural crime thriller web series, ‘Dhootha.’ Directed by Vikram K Kumar, the series is currently captivating audiences on Amazon Prime Video.

‘Dhootha,’ featuring Naga Chaitanya in the lead role, unfolds a supernatural narrative that also stars acclaimed actors such as Parvathy Thiruvothu, Prachi Desai, Priya Bhavani Shankar, among others, in prominent roles. The series revolves around Sagar, a journalist whose encounters with a newspaper foretell events destined to unfold in his life.

This collaboration between Vikram K Kumar and Naga Chaitanya marks their second venture after their successful 2014 film ‘Manam.’ The series boasts cinematography by Mikolaj Sygula and editing by Naveen Nooli. Its release on Amazon Prime Video on December 1, 2023, has garnered attention for its gripping storyline and stellar performances.

On the professional front, Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his 23rd film, ‘Thandel,’ directed by Chandoo Moleti.
