Adipurush Ticket Prices Soar, Delhi-NCR Offers Most Expensive Seats

The highly anticipated film Adipurush, starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan, is gearing up for its theatrical release on June 16, 2023. Surprisingly, Delhi-NCR is offering the most expensive tickets for Adipurush. According to BookMyShow, one ticket for the Hindi version of the film in 2D format is priced at Rs 2200 in PVR Directors Cut, Ambience Mall. This premium pricing has not deterred fans, as these tickets are in high demand. In PVR: Vegas LUXE, Dwarka, tickets priced at Rs 2000 have already sold out, and multiple shows in Delhi are houseful.

Directed by Om Raut, Adipurush marks his second directorial venture after the phenomenal success of Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. The film, a 3D feature, was officially announced in August 2020 and is an on-screen adaptation of the Hindu epic Ramayana, celebrating the victory of good over evil. Adipurush has been shot in Hindi and Telugu and will also be released in Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.

The film features Prabhas in the role of Raghava, Kriti Sanon as Janaki, Saif Ali Khan as Lankesh, Sunny Singh as Lakshmana, and Devdatta Nage as Hanuman. While the teaser of Adipurush faced criticism for its depiction of Hindu deities and perceived poor visual effects quality, the trailer has received praise from all quarters.
