Adipurush: Prabhas and Kriti Sanon Starrer to Reserve Seat for Lord Hanuman in Theatres

The highly anticipated film Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, is set to hit theaters on June 16. Directed by Om Raut, the filmmakers have made a unique announcement regarding the release. In a gesture to celebrate the beliefs of the people, it has been revealed that one seat in every theatre screening of the film will be dedicated to Lord Hanuman. The statement from the team explains that one unsold seat will be reserved as a mark of respect for the deity, as it is believed that Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited.

The statement reads, “Lord Hanuman appears wherever the Ramayana is recited. It is our belief. Respecting this belief, every theatre screening Prabhas’ Rama-starter Adipurush will reserve one seat for Lord Hanuman without selling it. Hear the history of paying respects to the greatest devotee of Rama. We started this great work in an unknown way. We all must see the Adipurusha built with great grandeur and grandeur in the presence of Lord Hanuman.”

Adipurush draws inspiration from the revered Indian epic, Ramayana. Directed and written by Om Raut, the film features a talented cast including Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan in leading roles. Sunny Singh and Devdatta Nage will also be seen in supporting roles, adding further depth to the ensemble.

In other news, it has been reported that Prabhas’ fee for Adipurush has increased the film’s budget by 25 percent. While earlier reports suggested a fee of Rs 90-100 crore, the actor has allegedly demanded Rs 120 crore. This demand comes despite the disappointing performance of his recent film Radhe Shyam at the box office.
