Aaradhya Bachchan moves Delhi HC against YouTube channel over fake news about her health; Hearing today

Aaradhya Bachchan, the 11-year-old daughter of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan, has moved Delhi High Court against a YouTube channel for allegedly reporting fake news about her health. The star kid has sought an injunction against such reporting by the media about her as she is a minor. The hearing for the same will be held today in Delhi High Court.

Aaradhya Bachchan is frequently targeted by trolls on social media. Her father, Abhishek Bachchan, had previously lashed out at haters who constantly attack his daughter. In an interview with BollywoodLife, he stated that while it’s completely unacceptable and something he will not tolerate, his daughter is out of bounds for negativity on social media.

Recently, Aaradhya was seen with her mother, Aishwarya Rai, at the launch of India in Fashion at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre. The mother-daughter duo looked stunning as they walked the pink carpet. Aishwarya chose to dress in a traditional black salwar kameez, while Aaradhya wore a traditional salwar suit for the night.

Aishwarya and Aaradhya were also present at the inauguration event of the NMACC, which was attended by several Bollywood celebrities including Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Salman Khan.

It’s heartening to see a young child taking action against fake news and standing up for her right to privacy. We hope the Delhi High Court hearing will provide a positive outcome for Aaradhya and set an example for others who may face similar situations.
