Jabardasth, the popular Telugu comedy show, has witnessed tremendous success and consistently dominated the TRP charts. Among the talented actors on the show, Jabardasth Appa Rao has garnered immense love from the audience with his hilarious performances. Recently, Rao spoke out against the circulation of fake news by certain YouTube channels, expressing his concern about the mental toll it takes on actors.
In a candid interview with a media portal, Rao revealed that some YouTube channels deliberately create misleading thumbnails related to the deaths of senior celebrities. Their motive is to attract a large number of views and subscribers by sensationalizing these news items. He expressed his grief over the lack of verification before uploading such content and highlighted the immense pain it causes to actors. Rao also shared his own experiences of being subjected to rumours, including false reports about his involvement in Bigg Boss and roles in various movies.
While addressing the issue of fake news, Rao has been making waves in the Telugu film industry with his recent film, Ganaa. The film, written and directed by Medapati Vijay Krishna, boasts a stellar cast including Krishna in the lead role, along with actresses Yogisha Sukanya and Teju Anupoju. Supporting actors Naga Mahesh, Anantha Prabhu, and Dorababu Pediredla also delivered noteworthy performances. Ganaa, which hit theatres on March 17, has emerged as a box office hit, further cementing Rao’s reputation as a talented artist.
Looking ahead, Rao eagerly anticipates the release of his upcoming film, Palle Gootiki Pandagochindhi. Directed by Kancharana Tirumala Rao, the movie is currently in the post-production stage. Alongside Rao, the film features acclaimed actors such as Sayaji Shinde, Suman, Sai Kumar, Raghu Babu, Nikita Bisht, and Gundu Murali. Produced by Laxmi Film Productions, Palle Gootiki Pandagochindhi is set to make a splash on the big screens in Telugu.
