Reuniting with Bhansali has been a highlight for Aditi, who described the experience as incredible. “He creates such beautiful, immersive worlds,” she said, praising his ability to extract the best from actors and the dignity he lends to female characters.
“Heeramandi” explores the lives of courtesans and their patrons, featuring a stellar cast including Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Richa Chadha, and more. Aditi, who portrays Bibbojaan, cherished the opportunity to work alongside such talented individuals.
For Aditi, preparation for the role involved mastering Urdu dialogue and learning Kathak dance, all to ensure authenticity in her performance. She looks forward to upcoming projects like ‘Lioness’, an Indo-British production, and her involvement with L’Oréal at Cannes.
