Renowned South Indian actor Nagarjuna Akkineni has recently caught the attention of the public, not for his upcoming films or projects, but for his latest purchase—an impressive Kia EV6, one of the finest electric vehicles available in the country. The news was shared on Facebook by the car dealership, showcasing Nagarjuna’s commitment to adopting eco-friendly modes of transportation and supporting the use of electric vehicles.
The official Facebook page of CAR Kia 36 Jubilee Hills & Gachibowli shared an enchanting picture of Nagarjuna and his wife, actress Amala Akkineni, taking delivery of their new Kia EV6. The caption conveyed heartfelt congratulations to the couple on their wise and sustainable choice for the future of mobility. The picture portrayed Nagarjuna and Amala gracefully receiving their stylish white Kia EV6.
The Kia EV6 boasts a captivating design that seamlessly blends elegance with futuristic aesthetics, capturing attention with its sleek and aerodynamic silhouette.
Equipped with a single 77.4 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, the new car offers an impressive maximum driving range of 528 kilometres (km) according to the WLTP cycle. The EV6’s battery supports ultra-fast charging, providing an additional range of 100 kilometres in just 4.5 minutes.
The electric vehicle features a single motor unit that generates 350 Nm of torque and 225 Bhp (brake horsepower). Kia claims that the EV6 can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in a remarkable 3.5 seconds, showcasing its impressive performance capabilities. The starting price of the Kia EV6 is set at Rs 60.95 lakh (ex-showroom), with options ranging up to Rs 70 lakh.
While Nagarjuna’s recent films, “Wild Dog” and “The Ghost,” generated significant interest and positive impressions through their trailers and teasers, they, unfortunately, failed to meet audience expectations.
In exciting news, reports suggest that Nagarjuna has given his nod to a script from director Ajay Bhupathi, known for his work on the film “RX100.” An official announcement regarding their collaboration is expected to be made soon. Previously, there were discussions about a project between Nagarjuna and writer Prasanna Kumar, but that plan was eventually cancelled.
Nagarjuna’s decision to purchase the Kia EV6 not only highlights his personal interest in adopting an eco-friendly mode of transportation but also serves as an inspiration for his fans and the general public to consider sustainable alternatives. With his upcoming projects, including the potential collaboration with Ajay Bhupathi, Nagarjuna continues to captivate audiences with his versatile acting skills and choice of diverse roles.
