Vishnu Manchu Visits Kedarnath Before the Release of ‘Kannapaa’

Actor Vishnu Manchu is preparing for the release of his Telugu mythological drama ‘Kannappa,’ which has emerged as one of the year’s most anticipated films. Featuring an impressive ensemble cast that includes Prabhas, Akshay Kumar, Kajal Aggarwal, and Mohanalal, the film is directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and is set to hit theaters at the end of the year. Recently, Vishnu Manchu took to social media to announce that he, along with producer Mohan Babu and director Mukesh Kumar Singh, visited the Kedarnath temple to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva ahead of the film’s release.

‘Kannappa’ is a mythological drama that tells the story of a fierce warrior and his unwavering devotion to Lord Shiva, illustrating his willingness to sacrifice his eyesight for the deity. Vishnu Manchu shared a video on Instagram, stating, “Started the journey of the 12 Jyotirilingas. The first one to visit is the holy Kedarnath. Prayed for #Kannappa and the journey it’s going to take. #HarHarMahadev.”
In addition to Kedarnath, the film team plans to visit other renowned Shiva temples in the region. The trio looked dapper in their traditional outfits as they made their way to the temple, with the video capturing the actor and director as they deboarded the helicopter upon arriving in the sacred lands of Kedarnath. ‘Kannappa’ was filmed in Telugu and is set to release in December across multiple languages, including Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
