Venkatesh Daggubati’s “Saindhav” Promises an Intense Thrill Ride in Upcoming Sankranti Lineup

Amidst the excitement building for the Sankranti releases in Telugu cinema, Venkatesh Daggubati‘s much-anticipated venture “Saindhav” stands out as a gripping action-packed thriller, all set to hit theatres on January 13th.

The freshly unveiled trailer, released on January 3, 2024, teases an adrenaline-filled narrative centred on a father’s valiant quest to rescue his daughter from the clutches of imminent peril. Venkatesh’s character, Saindhav Koneru, finds himself embroiled in a desperate race against time, requiring a staggering sum of Rs 17 crores to procure life-saving medicine for his ailing daughter, portrayed by Baby Ssara Palekar, alongside Shraddha Srinath’s character.

The film, helmed by Sailesh Kolanu of the acclaimed “HIT” series fame featuring Vishwak Sen and Adivi Sesh, offers a 3-minute and 36-second glimpse into Saindhav’s tumultuous journey. His past, laden with turmoil and labelled as SaiKO, beckons him back into a chaotic world, compelling him to confront long-buried demons.

The trailer unveils Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the menacing antagonist, alongside Arya and Andrea Jeremiah essaying pivotal roles. Siddiqui’s debut in Telugu cinema adds intrigue to the storyline, complemented by performances from Jisshu Sengupta, Ruhani Sharma, and more in significant roles.

Crafting the film’s musical landscape is the talented Santhosh Narayanan, while S. Manikandan handles the cinematography, and Garry BH takes charge of editing, promising a visually stunning and impactful cinematic experience.

Saindhav joins the Sankranti fervour, competing alongside Ravi Teja’s spy-action thriller “Eagle” and Mahesh Babu’s much-anticipated masala entertainer “Guntur Kaaram,” directed by Trivikram Srinivas. All three films, after meticulous crafting, are set to enthral audiences during the festive season, with “Saindhav” and “Guntur Kaaram” releasing on January 12th and “Eagle” hitting theatres on January 13th.

The buzz around these films adds to the fervour of Sankranti releases, marking Mahesh Babu’s return to the silver screen in a major production since his appearance in the 2022 film “Sarkaru Vaari Paata.” “Saindhav,” Venkatesh Daggubati’s upcoming Sankranti release, promises an intense and adrenaline-pumping cinematic journey. Set amidst the backdrop of a father’s valiant pursuit to save his daughter, this thriller, accompanied by Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s debut in Telugu cinema, is poised to captivate audiences with its riveting storyline and stellar performances.
