UK Parliament to Recognize Megastar Chiranjeevi for His Contributions to Public Service

Megastar Chiranjeevi will be celebrated in a grand ceremony at the House of Commons, UK Parliament, on March 19, 2025, where he will be honoured for his significant contributions to society. The event will see the presence of several Members of Parliament, including Navendru Mishra, the ruling Labour Party MP from Stockport, along with Sojan Joseph and Bob Blackman.

In addition to the recognition, Bridge India will present Chiranjeevi with the Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Public Service through Cultural Leadership, acknowledging his work in cinema, philanthropy, and his impact on public life.

There had been recent rumours circulating that Chiranjeevi would receive honorary UK citizenship in recognition of his philanthropic efforts. However, his team quickly dismissed these reports with a statement clarifying, “Reports of Megastar Chiranjeevi Garu receiving honorary UK citizenship are false. We request news outlets to verify such claims before publishing.”

The speculation began after Chiranjeevi casually mentioned being honoured in London during the pre-release event for Vishwak Sen’s Laila. He jokingly told host Suma, “I almost leaked something, but I stopped myself. Will you be able to come to London to host an event? They’re going to honour me in London. But you have to buy your flight tickets.” His comment sparked media reports, but his team promptly denied the claims.

As for his upcoming projects, Chiranjeevi is eagerly preparing for the release of Vishwambhara, with the release date to be announced soon. Additionally, he will collaborate with director Srikanth Odela of Dasara and The Paradise fame for what is described as his “most violent film” to date, produced by Nani.
