The Telangana Women’s Commission has voiced its concerns regarding the portrayal of women in films with inappropriate or obscene dance moves. According to reports, the Commission has warned that strict action will be taken against those who violate this directive.
They also emphasized that legal action will be pursued against directors, producers, and choreographers who incorporate questionable or explicit dance moves involving women in music videos.
This stance follows the recent controversy surrounding several Telugu films. One such instance was the criticism directed at the song Adhi Dha Surprisu from the Nithiin-starrer Robinhood, which was heavily criticized by netizens for its inappropriate dance choreography.
