Tabu’s Reaction to Nagarjuna’s Old Pic; Naga Chaitanya’s Father’s Day Tribute

Actors Nagarjuna and Tabu were rumoured to be in a relationship for nearly a decade. Tabu recently responded to an Instagram post featuring an old photograph of Nagarjuna. In the picture, Nagarjuna sported a striped shirt, while his son, Naga Chaitanya, appeared in a t-shirt. They posed outdoors, and Chaitanya captioned the image as “The OG ❤️.” Tabu and Mona Singh reacted to the post with red heart emojis.

Nagarjuna previously spoke about his friendship with Tabu in an interview with the Times of India in 2017. He described Tabu as a fantastic friend and reminisced about their longstanding bond, which began when he was 21 or 22 and she was just 16. He emphasised that their friendship was deeply meaningful to him and expressed admiration for Tabu’s personality and their shared history.

The duo collaborated in two Telugu films—’Ninne Pelladatha’ (1996) and ‘Aavida Maa Aavide’ (1998). ‘Ninne Pelladatha’ won the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu in 1996. ‘Aavida Maa Aavide’, a romantic comedy, also featured Heera Rajagopal alongside Nagarjuna and Tabu.

Tabu’s upcoming project includes Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha’ alongside Ajay Devgn, Jimmy Sheirgill, Shantanu Maheshwari, and Saiee Manjrekar. The film promises a unique musical love story spanning two decades, from 2002 to 2023, with a theatrical release scheduled for July 5, 2024.
