SSMB29: Following Mahesh Babu’s Scene Leak from SS Rajamouli’s Film, Makers Enhance Security and Prepare Legal Action

SS Rajamouli has been taking extensive measures to keep the production of SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu under wraps. Despite these efforts, clips from the sets continue to leak online, frustrating the filmmakers. In response, they have reportedly decided to strengthen security and explore legal options to address the issue.

The film, starring Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and others, is currently being shot, but the production team is facing challenges with set visuals and clips appearing online via social media and local TV channels. As per Reports, the makers are deeply concerned about the film’s secrecy and are considering taking legal action soon, although no official complaint has been filed yet.

As one of India’s most anticipated films, significant efforts are underway to maintain confidentiality. Currently, filming is taking place at Talamali Hilltop in the Semiliguda block of Koraput. A three-tiered security system has been put in place to safeguard the remaining schedule, with active support from the district administration, which is also showcasing the scenic beauty of Koraput.

Earlier, a scene featuring Mahesh Babu from SSMB29 surfaced online, raising concerns among fans. In the leaked footage, the Guntur Kaaram star is shown being pushed toward a wheelchair-bound individual, presumably Prithviraj Sukumaran, and forced to kneel at gunpoint.

The video appears to have been recorded from inside a car by someone associated with the production. Despite heightened security measures, the person responsible for leaking the footage has yet to be identified.

SSMB29 is set to release in two parts, with the first expected in 2027 and the second in 2029. With a staggering budget of nearly Rs 1000 crore or more, the film is poised to be a grand-scale production, featuring Priyanka Chopra in the cast. Mahesh Babu is rumored to portray a character inspired by Lord Hanuman. Directed by SS Rajamouli, this epic adventure will span multiple locations, include international artists, and deliver a unique cinematic experience.
