Sobhita Dhulipala had officially announced on her Instagram account that she will soon be entering Tollywood. The actress has been chosen to portray Vanathi in Ponniyin Selvan, Mani Ratnam’s crowning accomplishment. The makers have also unveiled the first look of the Sobhita Dhulipala as Vanathi from the upcoming historical drama.
She just revealed a look from her most recent shoot on social media. We couldn’t help but gaze at the actress since she had the appearance of a regal queen, and we were enchanted by her allure. The actress is dressed up like a muse from bygone eras and is wearing a lovely silk saree. An orange strapless brocade silk blouse with gold patterns, a plunging sweetheart neckline, a tie detail on the back and a cropped hem that draws attention to Sobhita’s toned midriff make up her ethnic ensemble for the Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 event. She paired it with a mustard-yellow dupatta and an orange organza saree embellished with sequins.
Sobhita draped the zari dupatta on top of the saree’s pallu revealing the midriff-revealing, displaying the beaded Kamar bandh and a dainty gold waist chain. The star cinched her pallu and the dupatta with the jewellery. Other accessories include layered necklaces, mang tika, matha patti, jhumkis, nath, hath bandh, rings, and bangles. She tied her curly hair in a centre-parted loose braid to add a feminine touch to her ensemble. In the end, she chose berry-toned lip shade, silver smoky eye shadow, blushed cheeks, winged eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, on-fleek brows, mascara on the lashes, dainty bindi, and beaming highlighter for the glam picks.
Sobhita showed off the beaded Kamar bandh and a delicate gold waist chain by draping the zari dupatta over the pallu of the saree in a midriff-baring manner. The diva used the jewellery to tighten her pallu and dupatta. Layered necklaces, mang tika, matha patti, jhumkis, nath, hath bandh, rings, and bangles are some other accessories. To give her outfit a feminine touch, she braided her wavy hair loosely in the middle. Her final glam options were a berry-toned lip colour, silver smokey eye shadow, flushed cheeks, winged eyeliner, kohl-lined eyes, on-fleek brows, mascara on the lashes, a delicate bindi, and shining highlighter. In the caption, she wrote “Sorry for the spam but last evening in Chennai was just too special Thank you for the love.”
The star-studded event marked the release of the Ponniyin Selvan Part 1 trailer and soundtrack. Several members of the film’s extensive cast, including Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Sobhita Dhulipala, Prabhu, R Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, Prakash Raj, Rahman, and R Parthiban, were present at the momentous event in Chennai.
