Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya Share Unseen Engagement Photos with Their Families

On Friday, actress Sobhita Dhulipala delighted fans by sharing beautiful new images from her engagement with Naga Chaitanya, accompanied by a poetic caption that captures their relationship. The newly released photos from the August 8 ceremony feature the couple posing with their families.

In one photo shared on a fan page, Sobhita and Naga Chaitanya are seen beaming alongside Sobhita’s parents. Another picture shows Chaitanya and Sobhita with his father, Nagarjuna Akkineni, his mother, Amala Akkineni, and his brother, Akhil Akkineni.

Previously, on Thursday, veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni announced the engagement on X (formerly Twitter), posting pictures of Chaitanya and Sobhita and writing, “We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.! We are overjoyed to welcome her into our family. Congratulations to the happy couple! Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness. The following day, Sobhita and Chaitanya shared more intimate moments from their engagement on Instagram. The photos include the couple sitting together on a swing, Sobhita holding Chaitanya’s hand, and several joyful images of the two of them together. Their caption featured verses from the Kurunthogai, translated by A.K. Ramanujan: “What could my mother be to yours? What kin is my father to yours anyway? And how did you and I meet ever? But in love our hearts are as red earth and pouring rain: mingled beyond parting.”

Chaitanya was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The couple announced their separation on social media in October 2021, requesting privacy and expressing that they will always have a special bond.
