Ram Charan’s much-anticipated RC16 is officially titled Peddi – and yes, you read that right! To mark his birthday on March 27, the film’s makers revealed both the title and the actor’s striking first look. Fans of the Game Changer star are already buzzing over his rugged and intense appearance in this upcoming sports drama.

This morning, two captivating posters were unveiled. The first poster shows Ram Charan in an earthy, fierce avatar, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. His gritty transformation, complete with a septum piercing, wild long hair, and a rough beard, has left fans in awe.

The second poster intensifies the mystery, featuring him in a rugged village look, smoking a cigar, and staring fiercely into the camera. The village stadium with floodlights in the background only adds to the excitement, making his character even more intriguing.

Sharing the posters, the makers captioned: “A MAN OF THE LAND, A FORCE OF NATURE. #RC16 is #PEDDI. Happy Birthday, Global Star @AlwaysRamCharan.”

Soon after the makers unveiled Ram Charan’s first look from Peddi, fans flooded the comments section with their reactions. One social media user exclaimed, “This is a solid banger comeback #RamCharanRevolts,” while another shared their excitement: “Maddd. Can’t wait to witness this RAMpage on the big screen. Happy Birthday!”

However, Ram Charan’s Peddi (RC16) has reportedly been delayed from its initial 2025 release to March 2026. According to a report by Telugu Chitraalu, Netflix, which holds the post-theatrical rights, has allegedly requested the postponement.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi is a sports drama set in a rural backdrop, starring Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, and Divyenndu, with music composed by the legendary AR Rahman. This marks Janhvi’s second Telugu project after Devara: Part 1.

Ram Charan’s most recent appearance was in Game Changer, a political drama directed by S Shankar. Despite the significant hype, the film failed to perform well at the box office. After wrapping up Peddi, Ram Charan will reunite with Rangasthalam director Sukumar for RC17.
