In a surprising turn of events, the highly anticipated collaboration between Tollywood’s Mass Maharaj Ravi Teja and director Gopichand Malineni has hit a roadblock. The duo, known for their successful ventures like “Don Seenu,” “Balupu,” and the recent blockbuster “Krack,” had fans eagerly awaiting their fourth project together.
However, sources reveal that the project has been put on hold due to budget constraints. Ravi Teja, who has been on a relentless spree of film projects, is reportedly demanding a staggering Rs 25 crores as remuneration for the film. Combined with Gopichand Malineni’s expectations, the total budget is expected to exceed the Rs 100 crore mark.The producers, Mythri Movie Makers, are now engaged in discussions to explore cost-cutting measures to make the project financially viable. If a consensus is reached and the budget is revised, the film may resume production soon. Otherwise, Ravi Teja might consider moving on to his next venture.
