The Telugu Film Journalists Association (TFJA) witnessed a remarkable event at Prasad Labs where renowned actress Rashmika Mandanna, in the presence of prominent film producers and esteemed guests, displayed her benevolence by distributing health insurance and health cards to its members. This philanthropic act is a commendable step towards the well-being of the association members and their families.
Rashmika Mandanna, a leading actress in the Telugu film industry, graced the occasion as the chief guest, leaving the producers and TFJA members feeling deeply grateful for her thoughtful initiative. Acknowledging the generosity of the producers, Rashmika Mandanna expressed her heartfelt gratitude, “I am humbled to be a part of this event and extend my gratitude to all the producers who have supported and contributed to this noble cause. Their benevolence has enabled us to provide much-needed health insurance and facilities for the well-being of the association members and their families.”
The event witnessed a significant turnout of esteemed producers and dignitaries from the film fraternity, including Navin Yerneni from Mythri Movie Makers, T.G. Vishwa Prasad from People’s Media Factory, and Sahukar Garapaty from Shine Screens, among others. Janvi Narang, the CEO of Asian Cinemas, also graced the event with her presence.
Lakshmi Narayana, the President of TFJA, addressed the gathering, “We are indebted to Rashmika Mandanna and the film producers who have joined hands to provide health insurance and other facilities to our members. Their valuable contribution has now ensured that every member and their families receive health insurance coverage of up to three lakhs, including coverage for term policies and accidental disabilities. The efforts of everyone involved in this endeavour have made a significant difference in the lives of our members.”
In the past, the Telugu Film Journalists Association has faced challenges when some of its members encountered health issues, with two of them suffering from prolonged illnesses, and three members experiencing accidents that resulted in disabilities. This situation prompted the association to contemplate a solution and establish an insurance program that covers up to 60 members in case of unfortunate circumstances.
The heartwarming gesture of Rashmika Mandanna and the film producers has provided much-needed relief to the members and their families, as they now have access to better healthcare facilities and insurance coverage. This initiative also sets a shining example for other industry members, encouraging them to come forward and support such noble causes.
“We are overwhelmed by the support we have received from Rashmika Mandanna, and it has further strengthened our commitment to creating more such programs in the future,” said Sunil Narang, expressing his gratitude for the actress’ involvement.
The Telugu Film Journalists Association aims to continue its efforts to enhance the welfare of its members and plans to conduct more such programs in the coming months. As Rashmika Mandanna highlighted, such acts of kindness can indeed make a significant impact on the lives of those in need, and her presence at the event served as a source of inspiration for everyone involved.
This commendable gesture by Rashmika Mandanna and the film producers proves that the Telugu film industry stands united in times of need, showing solidarity and support for its members and their families.
