Sipligunj’s musical journey started when he was in Class 7, and his lovely voice took his father by surprise. He got his vocal training from Pandit Vithal Rao, a well-known Hindustani vocalist and ghazal singer. Sipligunj has since paid his respects to his guru by singing the popular song ‘Naatu Naatu’, which has become a global sensation.

Despite his success, Sipligunj remains grounded and hardworking. His love for movies and singing started at a young age, and he would watch films on television since his father’s busy schedule rarely allowed them to go to the cinema.

Sipligunj completed his education at Loyola High School in Vijayanagar Colony. “I used to drop him off and pick him up every day. After he passed Class 7, we bought him a cycle, and from then on he used to travel by himself. Rahul spent his entire life in Mangalhat; we moved to Jubilee Hills a few years ago, and he still sees all of his childhood friends,” said Rajkumar.

Sipligunj’s mother, Sudha Rani, is a homemaker, and his younger brother, Nikhil, works in the United States. His sister, Shreya Priya, is married. With his incredible talent and dedication to his craft, Sipligunj is sure to continue making waves in the entertainment industry.
