Pushpa 2 Actor Allu Arjun Exonerated and Released from Jail

Allu Arjun was released from Chanchalguda Jail at around 6:30 a.m. on Saturday after being granted interim bail. In an effort to avoid media attention, police officials opted to escort the actor out through the Prison Academy gate rather than the main entrance. A heavy security presence was stationed along his route home, with authorities restricting fans from gathering near both the jail and his residence.

Instead of heading straight home, Allu Arjun made a brief stop at Geetha Arts. He then planned to pick up his wife and children from his in-laws’ house before returning to their Jubilee Hills residence by 8 a.m. To manage the anticipated crowds, police increased security around his home in preparation for any fan gatherings.

The actor’s arrest came in the aftermath of a tragic incident at the Sandhya Theatre during the premiere of Pushpa 2 on December 4. A stampede at the venue led to the death of 35-year-old Revathi from Dilsukhnagar and left her 13-year-old son, Sreetej, in critical condition. Several other individuals also sustained minor injuries. Authorities pointed to negligence by the theater management and Allu Arjun’s unannounced visit as contributing factors to the tragedy.

While Allu Arjun was taken into custody on Friday, his release came after he was granted interim bail on Saturday, drawing significant attention from the public and media alike.
