Prabhu Deva Welcomes Baby Girl with Wife Himani Singh, Expresses Joy and Focuses on Family Time

Renowned choreographer and actor Prabhu Deva has become a father once again, as he recently welcomed a baby girl with his second wife, Himani Singh. The 50-year-old star, who tied the knot with Himani in 2020, is overjoyed by the arrival of their daughter. This is his first child with Himani, and he already has three sons from his previous marriage.

Confirming the joyful news, Prabhu Deva expressed his happiness in an interview with ETimes, stating, “Yes, it is true. I am a father again and at this age. I feel very, very happy and complete.” The talented actor and choreographer are particularly delighted as this is the first girl child in their family.

Having had three sons from his first marriage with Ramlatha, Prabhu Deva is thrilled to embark on a new journey of fatherhood with his daughter. He shared his decision to reduce his workload and prioritize spending quality time with his newborn and family. The acclaimed artist wants to savour every moment of this new phase of his life.

Reflecting on his busy schedule, Prabhu Deva expressed, “I felt like I was doing too much work, just running around… I’m done. I just want to spend some time with my family.” His dedication to family and desire to be present for his loved ones demonstrate his commitment to embracing this precious bonding time with his daughter.

Prabhu Deva’s marriage to Dr Himani, a physiotherapist, took place in 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic in an intimate ceremony. The wedding was a modest affair adhering to lockdown restrictions. It is reported that Prabhu Deva first met Himani when seeking treatment for his chronic back pain, and their connection grew stronger during the therapy sessions.

The couple made their first public appearance after their marriage in April 2023 when they visited Tirupati to seek blessings. Although her face was covered with a mask in the pictures and videos that went viral, their presence together caught the attention of fans and the media.

Prabhu Deva’s previous marriage to Latha lasted for 16 years before they divorced. Together, they had three children—Vishal, who tragically passed away due to cancer, and Rishi Raghavendra Deva and Adith Deva. In 2010, Prabhu Deva faced allegations of divorce stemming from his alleged affair with actress Nayanthara, with whom he had a long-term relationship.
