“OMG 2” Starring Akshay Kumar and Pankaj Tripathi Creates Buzz with First Look and Teaser

After the immense success of “OMG,” Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set for a power-packed return. This time, he is coming with “OMG 2,” featuring several star performers including Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam in prominent roles. The film’s announcement has created a significant buzz, with the first look and teaser generating excitement and anticipation for the upcoming trailer.

The comedy-drama blockbuster hit “OMG – Oh My God!” had released in 2012 and was a commercial success. The film revolves around the story of an ordinary man – a father (played by Pankaj Tripathi) seeking justice for his son. Akshay Kumar’s character plays a pivotal role as his mentor, guiding him through challenging times.

Akshay’s look in the film has already become a major talking point since its first appearance. The comic timing and charming chemistry between Pankaj and Akshay on-screen have left the audience eagerly waiting to witness their camaraderie. This film takes storytelling to a whole new level, revolving around Kantisharan Mudgal (Pankaj), an ordinary family man who challenges the system to protect his beloved son.

Apart from a fantastic narrative and top-notch performances, the trailer also includes some remarkable one-liners that convey a fresh message without preaching. The songs “Har Har Mahadev” and “Unchi Unchi Vaadi” have already become huge successes, amplifying the excitement for the trailer release.

The film also features Arun Govil, Pawan Malhotra, and Govind Namdev. It is produced by Cape of Good Films, Ashwin Varde, Vipul D. Shah, and Rajesh Bahl, with Chandra Prakash Dwivedi as the creative producer.

“OMG 2” is scheduled for release on August 11, 2023.
